Krista joined Allegany Hearing & Balance in 1994. Initially hired part time to handle filing, she quickly became full time and has worked her way into the office manager position. She graduated from Beall High School in Frostburg, Maryland, where she lives with her husband, Jeff, who is currently a conductor and engineer with CSX but looks forward to retiring soon.

They have two grown children — her daughter, Shyler, is married to Adam and they live in Morgantown, West Virginia. She is an audiologist for West Virginia University. Krista’s son, Shane, and his girlfriend, Katie, live in Lonaconing, Maryland. He is a foreman with Allegany County Utility Division.

Krista and Jeff have a very spoiled dog, Kru; rotten cat, Jax; ornery cat, Jema; and seem to have adopted a sweet stray cat, PK. She is also a meowmory to our office cat, Fritz. Krista loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys reading and having a few beverages while camping in her new camper.
