Krista has been part of the Allegany Hearing & Balance team since 1994. She started in a part-time filing position and, through hard work and heart, became our amazing Office Manager. She’s the go-to person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Krista graduated from Beall High School and still calls Frostburg home. She lives with her husband of 35 years, Jeff, who’s now happily retired from CSX Transportation. Together they’ve raised two amazing kids and now enjoy being grandparents to one adorable granddaughter, Ruby—who has completely stolen Krista’s heart.

Her daughter, Shyler, is actually part of the team here as one of our audiologists and lives in Morgantown, WV with her husband, Adam, and little Ruby. Her son, Shane, works as a foreman for Allegany County Utility Division and lives in Frostburg with his fiancée, Katie. The family is excitedly counting down to their wedding in October 2025!

When she’s not at work, Krista loves spending time with her family (especially Ruby!), relaxing at Hidden Springs Campground, reading a good book, and enjoying a cold beverage by the campfire. Her home is full of love—and pets!—including their very spoiled dog, Kru, two cats with big personalities (Jax and Jema), and a sweet adopted stray named PK. She still misses Fritz, our beloved office cat, who passed away in 2024.
