Mallory Powell earned her Doctor of Audiology degree in 2016 from West Virginia University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in speech pathology and audiology with minors in child development and family studies as well as disabilities. She is board certified by the American Board of Audiology and a fellow of both the American Academy of Audiology and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. In addition, she is a past president and past fundraising chair of the West Virginia University chapter of the Student Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Powell joined Allegany Hearing & Balance Center in 2015 for her residency and specializes in comprehensive adult and pediatric evaluations, hearing systems and rehabilitation, auditory processing disorders, and cochlear implants. She lives in Fairmont, West Virginia, with her husband Derick, an electrical engineer, two children, Garrett and Emilia, and their two dogs, Chloe and Abi. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and crafting.
